You will find subtle details that perhaps no one will notice but you as the knitter know, such as raglan lines joining at the underarm to form twisted cable that runs down each side of the body, the same twisted cables repeated in the design on the sleeves, buttonholes integrated in the stitch pattern, shaping for the neck and front band, and a change in stitch pattern as the front band goes behind your neck so that you can match the ribbing with the rib lines on the back. As the button holes are integrated in the stitch pattern of the front band, you can decide if you would like to wear your cardigan with or without buttons after you have completed it and tried it on.
